MORADIA EM BENFICA

A moradia localiza-se em Benfica, tendo sido construída de acordo com o projecto tipo das moradias do Bairro de Benfica, havendo, no entanto, uma diferença para estas desde a sua construção que é a cave, semi-enterrada, a qual permite que a moradia tenha 270m2 de área de construção distribuídos por 3 pisos. A imagem exterior da moradia foi mantida, reabilitando-se as fachadas existentes e introduzindo-lhes isolamento capotto, alterando-se apenas a tipologia de vão, para janelas de folha única para se obter maior luz no interior. 

O interior apresenta-se contermporâneo tendo a compartimentação interior do piso térreo sido significativamente alterada. a introdução de reforços em estrutura metálica permitiram retirar três paredes interiores. Esta alteração permitiu tornar a casa mais ampla, com uma zona de estar de 53m2 constituída por três áreas: hall, sala de estar e sala de jantar. A cozinha completa a zona social da moradia, a qual permite a circulação à volta de um corpo central que integra a instalação sanitária social e a mesa de refeições da cozinha. A cozinha tem um volume forrado a madeira que contorna a escada, o qual recebe o frigorifico, arca vertical e despenseiros. Tem também uma mesa para as refeições do dia a dia com dois bancos corridos, desenvolvendo-se a zona de confeção junto ao alçado norte. No tardoz encontra-se uma zona de lavandaria, junto à qual existe um acesso ao exterior pelo tardoz da moradia.

A tipologia T3 foi mantida, com os seus três quartos a localizarem-se no piso superior, tendo o quarto principal passado a suite, com closet e instalação sanitária privativa. Existe ainda uma outra instalação sanitária que dá apoio aos dois quartos. A cave é composta uma sala de 31m2, apoiada por uma instalação sanitária e arrecadação.

No exterior foi demolida a garagem para aumentar a área de lazer. Foi previsto parqueamento para dois carros cobertos por uma pérgula de madeira.

Gika Apartament-Luanda

The apartment is located on the top two floors of the Apartment building over the new Comandante Gika Shopping Mall in Luanda. The existing four 4 bedroom apartments will be joined into one apartment that will include the private terrace of the building, including a total of 940 sq.m and a 427 sq.m terrace.

Camama Housing-Luanda

The residential area of Camama is in Angola, 20km south of Luanda. Camama is a growing area of the capital.

This project is the study for one of the building plots and it includes two residential buildings, landing on a basement which contains the parking area, lobby, gym and leisure areas.

The rooftop of this basement has public and private gardens, a swimming pool and solarium. As it is higher than the street level, this is a very quiet and private area.

The defragmented design of the residential buildings reduces their impact on the landscape, and the balconies help to shade, reducing solar exposition.

The interior design spacious and functional is set to a contemporary living.

Moradia Alcântara

A construção original data do século XIX, apresentando à data um elevado estado de degradação e abandono. O telhado há muito que deixa entrar água para o interior o que levou a que no alçado sul, a parede exterior de cantaria aparelhada apresente um avançado estado de ruina, ao contrário das restantes paredes exteriores, que apesar de degradadas estão em condições de serem reabilitadas.

A proposta de Arquitectura irá reabilitar e ampliar o edifício existente, adicionando-lhe um piso, o qual irá manter a traça típica do Bairro. Em contraste com a fachada principal e lateral de carácter tradicional em linha com a imagem do Bairro, a fachada tardoz terá um carácter contemporâneo e minimal. Para quebrar a leitura de uma fachada de três pisos, optou-se por desfragmentar a mesma, tanto em termos de acabamentos, como de volumes nos diferentes pisos. O piso inferior será marcado pelos vãos rasgados da sala e cozinha e a forra de madeira que se estende para as paredes laterais do logradouro; o piso 0 terá um volume saliente branco, com um rasgo horizontal correspondente à varanda do escritório e zona de tratamento de roupa, com prumos verticais e paredes em prumos de madeira; o piso dos quartos será revestido a zinco com 6 vãos de leitura vertical.

Murtal House-Cascais

Located in a consolidated residential area, the lot is confined between other lots, already occupied with singular houses, and a vacant lot to the south.

Although empty the plot does not show a pronounced topography, only a few rocky outcrops, with much degraded rocks, precluding their use.

The project is based on the program required by the client. A house for four people, with a dependency for guests, with independent access to the dwelling itself. The building has two floors above the ground for housing and a floor below ground for garage and storage.

With a simple and clear morphology, the building is a single volume whose voids announce the entrance to the house. Given the existing walls that present a significant height, there was a need to open up the ground floor in contrast to the “enclosure” that might arise with the construction. This way the building is crossed by two horizontal axes (north-south) and (east-west) at the ground floor allowing the creation of visual axes that cross the building and announce what lies beyond it.

Dário Silva Villa-Luanda

The project of the House was designed inside out, being the indoor garden the link between the interior spaces, introducing a green element adn natural light on the interior through the double height ceiling.

The Hall is also a central point of the House with it’s double height and the stairs. This space connects the social spaces of the ground floor and the private spaces of the upper floor. The volume of the rooms overlooking the pool are set on top of the living and dining room, which is one of the features of the House.

The outdoor spaces include a pool and jacuzzi. The building on the back of the plot supports the outsider areas.

Miguel Antunes House-Cape Verde

The building plot is located in Praia Town, Cape Verde. It has a rectangular shape and a small area of 10x20m, which was a challenge due to the programmatic arrangement, determined by the client.

The social areas, living room, dining room and kitchen are located on the ground floor. Outside there is a small garden and a parking space.

On the upper level there are the private areas of the house: two bedrooms and one suite with closet.

There is also a swimming pool on the roof with a magnificent ocean view, and a barbecue area.

This is a contemporary house, with large windows, for maximum natural light on the interior.

Housing building-Torres Novas

Project: With the collaboration of Arch. Vitor Santana

The building has an L shape following the limits of the plot which forms a courtyard with direct acess to one of the streets.

The building has four floors, and the two top floors where recessed to create a better harmony with the surrounding buildings. The basement will have 19 parking spaces. On the ground floor there will is a store

And na apartment. The remaining floors have a total of 16 apartments.

Amadora Apartament

This apartment is located near Amadora town center, in a 1958 building.

This is a two storey apartment with a 364m2 backyard. The social areas will be located on the ground floor, connecting with the backyard, and the private areas will be on the first floor.

João and Inês House-Dafundo

The plot is located in Dafundo, near Lisbon. It has a frontal view of 180º over the mouth of river Tagus.

With a contemporary look, the House will use wood panels on the façade with concrete e large glassed Windows over the great view.

The construction área is 1.700m2 and the plot extends itself trough the two sides of the city block in which i tis located, having a difference of 10.40m between the two streets.

The main House will be located on the upper part of the plot and there will be a second building on the lower street. On it’s rooftop the pool of the apartment will take advantage of the view over the rooftops of the buildings towards the river.

The social area of the House is located on the ground floor, on the second floor there will be 4 suites and on the top floor a gym and a terrace with a pool.

On the lower levels there will be na indoor pool, a wine cellar and other recreational spaces.

The other building will have 2 two bedroom apartments and a garage with 9 parking spaces.
